Despite a very rainy spring, water levels in the rivers begins to low down because of the hot weather temperatures.

As a result, all the rivers in the Ardèche, Beaume and Chassezac basins have passed the threshold of ALERT for drought since the 19th of July. Measures to restrict water use are apply :

Reminder: restrictions on use apply to all water resources (drinking water network, boreholes, pumping from rivers, springs etc.) except for stocks constituted before the restrictions came into force that are isolated from the natural environment.

These rules and restrictions vary for water use by households, agriculture and industry.
